Planters Fund Raising Golf Tournament is a combination of three precious elements in life i.e. sport, business, and awareness. The Organizing Committee of ICE-PO 2009 in collaboration with Borneo Orangutan Survival (BOS), a Non-Government Organization (NGO), will host the tournament. The golfers (as individual or playing for his/her company or for acting) will be encouraged to donate funding during the registration. All the donation collected will be presented to BOS at the opening ceremony of ICE-PO which will extensively be covered by mass media. This will make The Planters Fund Raising Golf Tournament a notable manifestation of care awareness from the players of palm oil industry and related industries to support sustainable movements particularly those of close to palm oil development. In addition, the tournament will also facilitate the exchange of views and experiences among the participants to promote the collaboration of BOS and palm oil companies.

RNinety Hectares of stunning countryside was specifically selected to fuse the pleasure of golfing with the enjoyment of nature's beauty. Designed by Greg Norman, one of the best professional golfers in the world, the 18 Hole Championship course integrates seamlessly with the dramatic topography and ambiance of the natural setting. Gentle hills and surrounding tropical forests provide the framework of the course, played through valleys of rivers and streams, waterfalls, lush and colorful plantings. The Grand Opening of the course in February 1995 featured a match plan between two of the foremost champions at the time, Nick Price and Greg Norman. In the spring of 2005, major improvements to the club facilities were initiated, including the Golf Course itself. In a short time, the new course planting schemes will be more evident, where each golf hole has a unique identity and botanical signature. Some holes feature extensive Bamboo groves, while another features masses of flowering trees, and others feature big leafy tropicals, Banyons, and other botanical delights. The natural water courses have been enhanced and accentuated with larger ponds, creating an even more beautiful environment in which to enjoy your game.
This is a good opportunity for your company to be sponsorship in this event......
